The Multisport Centre of Excellence - MSCE A world-class multisport training facility, featuring unparalleled medical, rehabilitation and sport science support, strategically located in the heart of Burnaby.









The Centre will house an interdisciplinary team of world-class medical practitioners, therapists, and sport scientists; including sport psychologists, nutritionists and strength and conditioning specialists. This team will collaboratively work with athletes and coaches to provide a full range of integrated assessment, treatment and performance enhancement programs.	Caring for one Athlete at a Time Athletes will be exposed to an atmosphere of excellence from the moment they walk through the doors of The MultiSport Centre of Excellence. A comprehensive strategy to care for the whole person is founded upon an integrated client focused service model delivered by a collaborative team of world-class, high performance sport medical and sport science specialists; all operating under one roof. The center will service dedicated athletes young and old - from the local school aged youth to Masters competitors. Recreational, elite and professional athletic teams and individuals will find the help they need to get and stay healthy and improve their skills. The high performance centre will offer personal attention to each athlete by providing the best in personnel and tools, including: A team of world-class sport medical professionals with a multi-disciplinary and broad approach to injury diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation Physiological and biomechanical specialists and services World class coaching and team training State of the art strength and conditioning equipment A research and development lab Advanced testing apparatus and methodology, and A wide array of amenities and hospitality services An athlete's village, complete with sport related retail outlets, restaurant and 60-room, 120 bed hotel will supplement the Centre's medical and training amenities. These added components will not only provide necessary revenue streams for the sustainability of the centre, but will also provide opportunities for athletes to learn vocational skills and choose careers paths through mentoring and 'real-world' work experience. Services don't end when a patron leaves the Burnaby Lake venue. A growing network of partners including other health and sport facilities, Universities, Technical Institutions and private corporations are teaming up with The MultiSport Centre of Excellence to ensure Canada's continuing excellence in sport.
